On The Rocks Fall 2026 Auditions

When: Wednesday, September 2nd, 7-9 PM

Callbacks will be held the following day, Thursday, September 3rd, from 7-9 PM

What: Prepare a minute or verse and chorus of your favorite song (no musical theatre). Be prepared to do some sight-reading and pitch recall as well.

  • Nope! The sight reading and pitch recall activities are just to help us get a sense of how you learn new material. We take all levels of musical experience.

  • We recommend you sign up for a time. You are also welcome to walk-in at any time between 7-9 PM, but please be patient, as there may be a bit of a wait.

  • Each auditionee will come into the room one at a time and will perform for our entire group. You will not sing in front of other auditionees.

  • If you are unable to attend our auditions, please reach out as soon as possible, and send us a video of you singing with no instrumental accompaniment.

  • All auditionees will hear back from us the night of, after all auditions have concluded. Final decisions will be sent out the night of callbacks. Please be patient, as the process can take some time.

  • We will send out callback materials to those invited to a callback as soon as audition results are released. Be prepared to learn some new music and to do blending exercises.

  • OTR rehearsals take place every Wednesday and Sunday night, from 7-9 PM. Additional time requirements include our retreat (September 25-27), and our performances.
