Founded in 2005, On the Rocks was established as CU Boulder’s first all-treble a cappella group, creating a space for female and treble voices to come together in music. What began as a small group of students with a passion for singing has grown into one of the most recognized and celebrated ensembles on campus. Over the years, On the Rocks has performed at campus events, local venues, and regional a cappella competitions, building a reputation for their powerful harmonies, innovative arrangements, and engaging stage presence.

Beyond performances, we have released recordings that showcase our ever evolving sound, blending contemporary pop hits with soulful ballads and reimagined classics. On the Rocks has also cultivated a strong sense of community and tradition, with each new class of members adding their own unique flair while carrying forward the group’s legacy. Nearly two decades later, On the Rocks continues to be a cornerstone of CU Boulder’s vibrant a cappella scene, inspiring audiences and creating lasting memories through music.
